John Keating
Vice President of Operations

John Keating has been the Vice President of Operations for Ascent Aviation Services at Tucson International Airport since Ascent opened for business in 2010. Prior to holding this position John was the President of Evergreen Maintenance Center at Marana, Arizona.

John's career started with Pan American World Airways spanning 24 years as mechanic and completing as Director of Power Plant Repair. The span included Line Maintenance, Airframe Overhaul and the Engine & Component Shops. A three year leave of absent, for a US Army tour of duty as a helicopter crew member, subtracted from this airline career.

John has held positions as Director or Vice President with Tower Air, Page Avjet and TIMCO. These companies exposed John to charter/military operations, Corporate/Business aircraft and Modifications and Alterations.

John is married with 3 daughters and 3 grand children.
John's background has helped Ascent through the first full year of very successful operations.
