R. Rick Townsend

R. Rick Townsend (Rick) is currently serving as Sr. Vice President, Sales & Business Development. Mr. Townsend joined Ascent in June 2010. Previously, Mr. Townsend was
employed by AAR Aircraft Services for 15 years serving in the capacity of Vice President - Sales, Marketing & Customer Support for three of its MRO facilities.

Prior to this, Mr. Townsend held Senior Management positions with AAR Oklahoma, FFV AEROTECH, and Pemco World Air Services.

Mr. Townsend began his career as an Aircraft Technician with Hughes Aviation in 1977.

Rick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from UNLV and holds a Commercial/Instrument/Multi-Engine pilot rating.

Rick recently completed a second term as Chairman of the Regional Airline Association's (RAA) Associate Members Board, is affiliated with the Wings Club, U.S. Air Force Association, a founding member of the American Air Museum in Britain and a member of several other aviation organizations dedicated to preserving the history of aviation and airpower.
