Jack Keating is responsible for Ascent's operations, as well as leading the Company’s commercial efforts and the execution of its growth initiatives.
Jack began his career at Pan American World Airways more than 44 years ago, working in various roles, from mechanic to Director of Powerplant Repair. He has also worked on line maintenance, airframe overhaul, aircraft engines, and component shops. Jack has extensive background in the aviation industry, including service in the US Army on a three-year tour of duty as a helicopter crew member.
Jack had held executive-level positions with Tower Air, Page Avjet, TIMCO and Evergreen Maintenance Center. He has a wealth of experience in charter, military, corporate and business aircraft heavy maintenance, modifications and alterations.
Roy Alexander is responsible for operational and financial planning, budget preparation, financial analysis and oversight of financial statements for Ascent Aviation. He also has responsibility over the HR Department. Roy previously held the position of Senior Auditor, responsible for financial audits and reports, preparation of financial statements, and reviews of the internal controls of corporations, government and non-profit organizations. He has also held staff positions at HBL CPAs, P.C. and CliftonLarsonAllen LLP.
Roy brings 8 years of financial management leadership to Ascent Aviation. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He also holds Bachelor's degrees in both Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Chris Heredia recently joined Ascent Aviation as Director of Sales, and brings extensive experience in marketing, sales and operations to the aviation industry. He was previously the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Evergreen Maintenance Center, Director of Business Development at Sentient Flight Group, and Vice President and General Manager - Western Region for Innotech-Execaire Aviation Group.
He is a licensed airframe and powerplant technician and holds a commercial pilot's license with flight instructor endorsements for single and multi-engine aircraft. Chris also served as Chairman of the Raytheon Hawker Advisory Board.
Chris began his 35-year aviation career in the US Navy where he completed several tours during the Vietnam War. He is a graduate of Northrop University with executive management and leadership experience including management of several maintenance repair stations under Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) and Transport Canada (TC) regulations. Chris brings balanced leadership and technical expertise that enables him to understand the diversified challenges that aircraft owners, operators and lessors face.
John Owen has spent over 40 years in aviation, and possesses a wealth of experience in quality, maintenance, air carrier operations and manufacturing management, including serving as an FAA designee.
John came to Ascent Aviation after having spent the last seven years as Chief Inspector of a heavy maintenance MRO, and transitioned seamlessly into the challenging role of Director of Quality. John has management responsibility for quality control, quality assurance, safety, training and records.
Prior to entering the commercial aviation world, John served in the US Army in various roles between technician, supervisor and inspector. John's commitment to quality and safety is well known and respected throughout the aviation maintenance community.
