Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority grants Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) Status to Ascent Aviation Services

TUCSON, AZ - 04-08-2013 - Ascent Aviation Services Corp. (Tucson, AZ) has been granted Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) status by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority after a diligent review. “Ascent appreciates the continued opportunity to perform heavy maintenance, modification and refurbishment services on Nigerian registered aircraft.” - R. The ASCENT facilities located at Tucson International Airport consist of 23 acres of concrete ramp, over 34,000 sq ft feet of hangar space along with 88,000 sq ft of backshop and secured consignment space in an ideal desert climate. The FAA,EASA and AFRA approved repair station specializes in B737 Classic, B737NG, MD80/90, B717 and CRJ 100/200 series aircraft. Ascent performs heavy and line maintenance, modifications, transition, aircraft refurbishment, storage and reclamation services along with consigned part sales. Ascent's workforce has completed more than 530 heavy maintenance and modification visits on the B737 and MD80 fleet types since 2002.
